This is Megan Washington singing in the game “Substitute”‘. This is from the ABC show “Spicks And Specks’ and aired October 21st, 2009. I bet Megan could sing the phonebook.
One of my new favorite artists! Her name is Cathy Davey. Now check out these vocals.
What I am listening to at the moment? Well since you asked: Army of Tears
I just saw this and dug it….so now it’s here.
Langhorne Slim sings Colette live. Some audio trouble but worth a listen. IMO.
Coke tried tweaking their formula with their release of New Coke. Now Pepsi has introduced a cutting-edge amphibian product called Pepsi Frog Toad made with 100% all natural frog nuts.
I’m not the best at transcribing but I did find the Blake video below interesting enough to replay, analyze, and write down. The most fascinating part of the clip is when he recites a poem (that he apparently authored) from memory. It goes something like this:
To hear the universe in a Robin’s song,
To see eternity in a child’s eyes,
To know heaven in her arms,
That’s God.
Not bad for a 76-year-old man caught off guard in his car by the paparazzi. He went on to say, “and when Rosie smiles, the sun takes a much needed rest”. This is apparently a reference to his young daughter Rose. A most interesting and entertaining 2 minutes and 11 seconds. IMO.
This video captures Robert Blake of Baretta fame speaking candidly about life’s challenges. He even manages to sing a nice tune before he drives away. Got to love the shades and cowboy hat.
The Gospel of Thomas was recommended to me during a conversation with my dentist. Below is an except from a BBS presentation on the lost gospels. This is one of numerous “Gnostic Gospels” that date back to very early Christianity. This entire program is available here.
