The popular micro-blogging website Twitter.com is down from my location in Greenwood, SC.
I’ve been testing the Hotels Combined affiliate program with my newly registered domain GreenwoodMotels.com. So far, I have experienced some very troubling issues that I’m now attempting to resolve with their technical group. Update and complete email transcripts to follow.
Yesterday, I registered the domain GreenwoodMotels.com after noticing that the term gets 22K searches per month. I found a nice motel affiliate and built out a microsite that finds great room prices on local Greenwood motels. Check it out http://www.greenwoodmotels.com.
The website of the domain registrar Dynadot appears to be down. If anyone has additional information please post in comment section. Thank you.
I’ve got to admit, Britney Spears is looking pretty fit these days. This is a clip from last night’s David Letterman show featuring a bikini clad Britney reading the “Top 10 List”.
I’m not the best at transcribing but I did find the Blake video below interesting enough to replay, analyze, and write down. The most fascinating part of the clip is when he recites a poem (that he apparently authored) from memory. It goes something like this:
To hear the universe in a Robin’s song,
To see eternity in a child’s eyes,
To know heaven in her arms,
That’s God.
Not bad for a 76-year-old man caught off guard in his car by the paparazzi. He went on to say, “and when Rosie smiles, the sun takes a much needed rest”. This is apparently a reference to his young daughter Rose. A most interesting and entertaining 2 minutes and 11 seconds. IMO.
This video captures Robert Blake of Baretta fame speaking candidly about life’s challenges. He even manages to sing a nice tune before he drives away. Got to love the shades and cowboy hat.
Here’s an entertaining clip from The Daily Show featuring my home state of South Carolina.

Recently discovered documents reveal that Tuvalu has regained control of its .TV domain.
This means that Tuvalu now appears to control wholesale renewal pricing and may also explain the recent surge in premium renewal pricing at Enom. Unlike the original 2000 contract with the .TV Corporation, this new contract appears to be little more than a merchandising deal whereby Tuvalu regains authoritative control. “In January 2002 .tv Corp. became a wholly owned subsidiary of VeriSign Corp., which bought it for $45 million in an agreement by which Tuvalu maintains control of the management of its domain name.” – Source Encyclopedia.com.
Let’s just hope they don’t take notes from the .SC folks anytime soon.
The popular micro-blogging site Twitter is currently under a DOS (denial of service) attack. However, regular users probably won’t notice much difference considering the website is always slow as molasses. “Twitter’s site went down around 9:30 a.m. ET on Thursday. A message posted on Twitter’s status blog said the site was active again by 11:30 a.m., but that the site remained under attack.” Entire CNN Article
