November Blue
MicroGuy | December 27, 2008Let’s wrap up the embedding frenzy with a slow acoustical tune from Scott Avett. Now it’s back to my PHP studies and black coffee. Then a little .TV drop catching for dessert. See ya’ll Later!

What the heck, it’s my website right? My sister says this music is “Secular”. I love my sister, but I think we need more Avett Brothers. Enjoy!
Just saw this for the first time tonight. It’s great to have the opportunity to get such a candid glimpse of this little-known rock, slash bluegrass, slash blues, slash gospel, (continues), slash guitarist, slash vocalist, slash amazing, spectacular, musical guru. Did I mention he has an equally talented brother.
Today, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth hosted a special 2008 Christmas broadcast. Her message was such a joy that I embedded the recording here for your viewing pleasure. Happy holidays to everyone in “cyberland” and a very special thanks to the Queen for her inspirational words of wisdom.
I’ve decided to try out the new grid hosting service at Godaddy. There are several limitations including no SSL, but the technology sounds promising and you can’t beat the introductory price. I will be providing a detailed review here after evaluating the service. Let’s hope it’s an improvement over the deluxe plan.
OrderSub.com is one of my most recent (and favorite) domain purchases. This domain would be perfect for a national or local sub sandwich restaurant that wanted to provide online delivery ordering. The .net version of this domain is currently being used by a Canadian franchise owner. If you’re a domain speculator or restaurant business owner, this domain would be an invaluable addition to your business. Domain has an asking price of $1500.
After months of lingering along on the crippled ChannelMe platform, the founder of Hollywood.TV has decided to join the “big league” and migrate to dot com. This site once heralded by dot TV enthusiasts is now officially hosted on a dot com. This is just the latest blow in a series of defections for the trendy media-centric TLD. Current TV made a similar move shortly after winning an Emmy in 2007. There’s growing speculation that a contractual issue exists between Verisign and Tuvalu that is causing concerns for these heavy hitters.
I was browsing in the Clinton, SC Hospice Thrift Store today and discovered this CD titled “Nomad” in a small basket at the check-out counter. The record along with my biographical hardback on the Dalai Lama cost a total of two dollars. Here is one of the more interesting tracks titled “Follow the Sun”. Cool lyrics.

In recent days, I have found myself becoming more and more “in tune” with my domain purchases. Mediums will often use a personal item from an individual to assist them in their readings. There are now several cases where I have connected with a domain’s energy during periods of R.E.M. sleep. Case in point, the dream about the military man trying to hurt me as a small child described earlier was experienced the day before my purchase of Auschwitz.tv. I am still studying this phenomena and will report additional finding as my investigation continues.
Over the next several weeks, I will be making several changes to the website and begin focusing on domain sales. I’ll continue to perform Internet/network consulting in Greenwood, SC.
