Demand Media found someone willing to pay $10,000 per year for VACATIONS.TV. Well the poor guy has had enough and decided to quit paying the ransom.  There are still a few .TV believers, and I agree there still remains a glimmer of hope. But the number of people willing to pay 10K for a .TV domain renewal is dwindling.  If you would like a high-tech way of flushing money down the toilet, you can grab this premium dot tv domain anytime after 4:00 EST tomorrow morning. 

Ok, I have a dedicated server at the planet, a virtual server at Godaddy, and a deluxe hosting account on Godaddy. This website is residing on the deluxe hosting account which seems to slow down from time to time. After doing a little online research, it appears that Godaddy oversells their hosting. Ok, Google now hear this, Godaddy hosting is slow, Godaddy oversells their hosting, Godaddy sucks!

I’m seriously considering moving this site to HostGator.

I just placed a new graphic into the site header today. There is still to much blank area, so I’ll need to fill the space or reduce the height of the header.

My pick for today is GORY.TV. It should be dropping around 4:00am and you will need a script to have any chance of catching this one. I will catch this domain for $25.00 + Reg Fee using my drop catching network.

Well, it’s been another exciting day in the life of MicroGuy. I was the official announcer and DJ during the band breaks at the festival. The Myrtle Beach Boys are a great local band consisting of various members of other larger groups. I’m in bed now getting ready to look over the list of dropping .TVs for the final time. The only domain that stands out is UCAM.TV. But I’m losing interest in .TV and the market is slow.

I’m leaving the office (travel trailer) now to setup the PA system for the festival. I’m running on about 4 hours sleep and not digging it. This blog will probably wind up being a place for me to vent. Speaking of venting, I just added a Font Size selector to the WYSIWYG editor in Wordpress and what should have taken 5 minutes took 30. And another thing, Godaddy hosting is very cheap and today seems VERY slow! Ahhhh.

There’s a festival in my home town today. It’s called “Coming Home to Cross Hill”. I’m on my way down to the town hall now to help with setting up tents and the PA system. It’s raining and I’m tired. My three boys are coming to stay with me for the weekend. That makes me happy.
